The problem in society today is to decide whether or not to pay college athletes to play a sport.




II. Facts that demonstrate that there is a problem are:

College athletes have to put 100% in their sport and team to get a winning season. Some sports are all year around sport because some sports need off season training to get them in physical condition. Then during the season they have any where from three or more hours of pracitce. So getting a job to pay for school supplies and the other basic needs to get a college students through school is hard. Athletes have to be determind and focus on their team and also be committed to the sport.
